I have windows xp, sound is not working, it states no sound device, anyone out there knows how to fix my problem, I have tried and tried with no luck. I made a mistake and uninstalled my sound and now its not working it says my sound card not not installed and it was working before and i never touched anything inside the computer i have microsoft windows xp pro ver service pack 2 intel R Pentium R.
M y computer has no audio output device. H ey my laptop doesn't have any sound. I have it hooked up to speakers but my comp isn't registering as having any sound driver. Does anyone know how I fix that?
I want to record sound which is playing from my computer, I don't want windows sound recorder because it records from mic which can also capture other unwanted noise, I want to be able to record it straight out of my computer's sound card's output, how? I would suggest you to follow these steps to make sure you see the disabled devices: Open Control panel. If the issue still persists, try enabling speakers automatically using steps below.
