You can also dip your hands in warm not hot water. Practice good skin hygiene, including avoiding excessive skin dryness that can promote breaks in the skin. Drink warm beverages. Avoid or limit caffeine and alcohol use. Eat a balanced diet and exercise regularly. Avoid stress and practice techniques to reduce it, like meditation. Avoid abrupt changes in temperature.
